The abs is compleatly out of the way. Put it like this. On a non abs car you start from the mc then to the proportioning valve,(if its a 2 port mc) then to the brakes. With a abs car you go from the mc to the abs modulator then to the brakes. I took all the lines off the modulator and replaced it with the proportioning valve. There may be the problem with the proportioning valve, so it may be easyer to use a 4 port mc, who knows of the best one? That's what ill try next.

I found that the master cylinder for a 2005 is a different part number between the abs and non abs. It doesnt look like alot of change between them spec wise but maybe there is something to it.
Part Number: M55149

Warranty: Limited Lifetime
Application: Without anti-lock brakes
Component Hardware Included: Yes
Master Cylinder Bore Size (In): 0.875
Master Cylinder Color / Finish: Metallic
Master Cylinder Material: Aluminum
Master Cylinder Port Diameter: Primary M10x1.0 M16x1.5 , Secondary M10x1.0 M16x1.5
Master/Slave Cylinder Type: Push
Part Number: NM55148
Weight: 2.0 lbs
Warranty: Limited Lifetime
Application: Anti-lock brake system
Bore Size: 7/8 in.
Includes: Special installation notes
Primary - Hole Size and Location: M10 x 1.0 engine side
Secondary - Hole Size and Location: M10 x 1.0 engine side
I grabbed this info from auto zone, also it look like you can rule out the brake booster, auto zone only listed one so they must work on both abs and non abs.

Yo Decos, my rear brake hose just blew out when I left work. I just got done replacing and bleeding my brakes and I had a hell of a time getting a firm pedal. I just relized the mistake I was making and maybe it might be your issue as well. Are you allowing the pedal to sink all the way to the floor before closing the bleed screw? I wasnt and I couldnt for the life of me get a firm pedal.
Now of course I am bleeding my brakes solo using a brake pedal depresser that normally is used during alignments. I had to lock up the pedal, bleed a bit, go back and push the pedal further with out letting it up, relock and repeat until the pedal was finally on the floor. After that I had a firm pedal.
Hope this helps.

Deco's Have you got any photos of your brake setup, Especially Master cylinder, Proportioning valve. Sounds like your not getting a fuel depress and there is still air in the system when your bleeding. See if someone can give you a hand, even if you have to bribe them with a 6 pack.

Just looked at my master cylinder... standing in front of the car there are 2 lines coming out the left side of the MC. They are for the front brakes. The front runs to the passenger side and rear goes to driver. Coming out the right side of the MC there looks to be some extra part inbetween the MC and line fittings. I assume that this is the proportioning valve. The front "looks" to run to the driver and rear to passenger.
