Open the fuse box and remove the ABS fuse. I've done that on cars we are racing before. I would assume it would work the same way.

ive only enountered 1 j2 with abs most didnt werent ordered with it



id like to see a pic of your engine bay, im willing to bet you didnt have it

should be a silver machined box on the passenger side of the car right behind the headlight with small aluminum piping coming out of it. at least that is how it is on my tib. i couldn't see much of a weight loss or even a good idea to lose it IMO.

I've heard of abs systems weighing like 20 lbs just learn to not lock up the brakes.
