There is no reason I see they wouldn't work, other than the splines in the axle not fitting, but I doubt they'd change that with as many OEM parts as they left the same.
According to Red, the splines are the same: http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/fo...ic.php?t=66965
I'd definately be interested in a 5 lug swap!

According to Red,
Huh???
edit: N/M, did a LOT of searching to find his 1 thread stating who he really is.

MMMmmm... is this hub conversion possible ? I mean, either the two ways, changing for GK hubs or drilling them (I still don't feel safe with the drilling idea...)?
And JonGTR, would you clarify the RED's identity issue? I did a not so throughly search and found nothing...

If you look through hyundaiaftermarket.com/old, he posted on there a lot, very knowledgeable imo. He did a lot of work on hyundai's. He currently uses the name RTwo on hyundaiperformance.com

^ Make sure you go run around and slap as many Korean tuners as possible for not doing it first, just do that for me please. I dont get why people haven't had this figured from Day one out there when the GK came out.

^^ B/c of the RD vs GK debate.
Swapping out the hubs should be the trick. Swap the GK 5-bolts onto ours. I still dunno about the spline. Hyundai Parts Catalog shows the hub on the GK and the RD being the same part (which it OBVIOUSLY isn't...5-bolt vs 4-bolt)...their new format is retarded and a waste of bandwidth.
Drilling is pretty bad...as bad as drilling holes in rotors...except much worse when you have to account for the force on the new studs on the hub. If you do it PERFECTLY, then yes...you can get away with it...I wouldn't though. It's often better when you have the correct hub for your application.

I'm going to autocross and drag race, so I'm not even about to put that kind of strain on a drilled hub.
