Whenever I start moving, or stop quickly, there's a loud knocking sound on the driver's side. It happens when I hit bumps now and then too, which is what leads me to believe that it's suspension related. I know my front left fender is bent a little, but I doubt that it would flex that much during movement, I mean it's barely even a visible defect. It kinda sounds like hitting a stick or something in the road, but I've checked several times, and there's nothing under the car or anything like that. Any suggestions?

cv joint and ball joint. give them a check...

cv joint...play in the rotation of the wheel when the driveshaft is stationary.

ball joint...movement of the top of the tire into and out of the wheel well when you have the car jacked up.

does it happens when you drive (low speed) with front wheels turned all the way to the right/left?

Check bushings, cv-joits, ball-joint, shocks. Try moving stabilizer bar up-down (quicly) and check if you hear that sound.

I get that sound too. It's really bad and only from a stop and go motion, not turning. Like when the wheel goes up and down.
