Default 18's on a 97-01 tiburon

Does anybody have 18's on their car?

What size tire do you have and do you rub?

If you have 40's... do they rub? and how bad do they mess with your speedo?

Just asking...

As you guys can tell... im shopping for rims

That's Guilty's car when he used to have those wheels on it. He said he had some rubbing at times, and he had... umm... I want to say Eibach lowering springs. I would say talk to him, but his computer blew up. eek!

I'm rolling on 18" Focal F5's.
Using 215/35/18 tires.
Car is lowered by 30-40mm using Eibach springs+dampers.
There is zero rubbing
The key to rim choice is getting the right offset, the offset of the Focals is 42mm and they are 7" wide.

Barry.

Hey Hootie I dont have any updated pics sorry and it's still primer grey. But I do have the one and only sliding ragtop sunroof. My tires were 215/35/18 on 1.75 drop. they rubbed just a tad so I took a tiny dead blow and rolled the fender a little and it fixed it.

here's a really useful calculator.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

it's fun to play with when you're shopping for rims.
