What kind of unmarked police cars are in your area?
I've seen a ford F150 and a Ford Mustang both completely 100% unmarked. The flashing lights were either in the grill or their fog lights were the flashers.

Everything really. Suburbans, Tahoes, 300's, chargers, mustangs, Camaros, challengers, Jeep's.... They basically use their personal vehicles.

Dark-neutral coloured xr6 falcons are your standard undercover car
commodore omega/evokes for the detectives
There are the odd few corollas, WRXs, patrols, and territories
The department of transport compliance cars (for heavy vehicles and taxis etc) are all hyundai i40s, some marked, some unmarked. These cars have magenta lights.
There is an interesting difference in fitout in our police cars, undercovers included.
Some seem to be fitted out with up-to-the-minute LED wig wig wags in every opening possible, tinted lights behind the grille, flexible slip on lights around the sunvisors, 10,000 flashing patterns, and so on.
The rest are still using strobes on the dash and a magnetic roof light (for undercover cars) and boxy strobe-based lightbars on the roof of marked cars.
