The lexus RC-F can't tow at all. And, tipping the scales at around 4000 lbs, probably can't handle. And it's more expensive than a seventh-hand trans am that may, if modified, beat it in a straight line. So it must be a bad car, right? Sum of all its parts?

I really don't know how to properly describe how phenomenally bad the Challenger was at autocross though. It was like watching Stephen Hawking compete in American Ninja Warrior.
On launch it had extreme fore-aft axle hop. This should be the one thing it does right if it does anything right, and with standard parts at least they're simply throwing more horsepower at a crap system. It alternated between massive understeer and very rough and grabby oversteer. A lot of the time it looked like driver inputs effectively did nothing. A Crown Vic does far better. Seriously. It's the worst modern car I've ever seen try autocross. Camaros do pretty well, and Mustangs seriously kick ass. The Challenger is a nice looking but heavy poor design, with extra horsepower poured on it hoping that people will overlook that.
