Well my dad got this 94' Celica ST for $700 from a guy who couldn't afford the repairs needed on the car. Being my dad is a mechanic I guess he has the advantage of getting cars this easily. It has 174k on it, it's a 5 speed, has a sunroof, power windows, doors etc. and has only had one owner. The only thing that needs to be changed on it is the clutch, timing belt, and tires. It runs really good, and it shifts perfectly. I'm considering taking it in place of the Tib, but I'd want some of your opinions on that cause I'm not too sure. After all, I've grown to like the Tibby at least. laugh.gif If I don't take the Celica my dad's going to take it in place of his truck.

Come on' Dude! Keep the TIB! I think you have a 2nd gen right? If you do then it's the thing to do because it's much newer (94 vs. 2000) and looks better. However if you had a 1st Gen, it wouldn't be that newer, BUT still looks much better, and it's more unique than a Celica.
The car is really clean though, a very interesting find for you and your dad.

It does remind me of a RD2, guess because of the front headlights. Keep the Tib, the Celica looks nice but the Tib looks nicer wink1.gif

my best friend has a 92 Celica, and unless you can get the Altrac motor (turbocharged AWD) the celica has little or no performance possibilities.

i personally don't like that gen of celicas, i like the 2000's and the 90's (with the flipup headlights).
the tib is a lot newer, has less miles, and most of the features you described. 174k is a lot of miles.
why don't you KBB them and see which ones worth more if you REALLY can't decide smile.gif

Looks nice, I always loved 5th gen (1989-1993) and 6-th gen (1993-1997..) Celica.

But compared to Tib - Tib has more unique and much interesting and modern design.

RD1, RD2 woot woot laugh.gif
