Hi guys,
I actually own a 2k5 rx-8 and my friend just tried it and he loved it. He's now searching for a used car and he's hesitating between a 2k5 rx-8 or srt-4. He never drove a srt-4. The price range is between 17k to 20k CAD for both vehicules.
What do you think between these 2 cars...
Thanks

really depends on his needs/wants..
rx-8 for the more exotic feel and driving experience. and if hes not worried about gas mileage and how small it is inside.
srt-4 if he needs a bigger car, with more gas mileage, that has tons of aftermarket support and is pretty quick right out of the box..
FYI, I was looking at BOTH of these vehicles thoroughly and ended up picking up an SRT-4. i got the SRT4, because i needed the size (have a son) and wanted better gas mileage. i also love forced induction, and the SRT-4 was faster than the RX-8 stock for stock.
I really love my car, takes well to mild mods, gets pretty good gas mileage and i can throw a good amount of crap in it.
here are some good points for him to look at with SRT-4.
handles decent stock
has good sound system (kicker speakers and 10" sub)
gets around 24/30 gas mileage
quick
lots of aftermarket, easy to pull alot of power from the car.
I woulda chose the RX-8 hands down if i could afford the crappy gas mileage and didn't need to have more than two people in the car though.

We're both 20 years old... the family fact isn't touching us for now tongue.gif
We saw a mopar stage 2 SRT yesterday for 18k$.... it was interresting.
I now gas milleage is a problem with rx-8... In Quebec, the SUPER is: 1,60$\liter, cost me an arm
Keep up with opinions
EDIT: What do you think about the fiability of the SRT... american cars...?
