all i know is that with the help of majikTib, i was able to fix mine (adjusting them) and personally i hate the color of my bulbs, i will be replacing them as soon as possible to some 4500K bulbs and if that dont help i will be getting rid of this Bosch modeule and getting the 55W from DDMtuning or i may just get them now
I have done two sets of these this week. 9007 and H4. Both were somewhat fun as I was new to the procedure. None the less what I have taken from the experience is that relays are the savior of all! LOL
As for high and low beam ( dual filament) you need to buy a higher quality/ specifically made kit for that bulb. I did a set of 9007 and the bulbs simply would not let me wire them in any way for high beam. I did a little research as too why and it brakes down to current capability of the ballasts and bulbs. They need to be able to use 6-8 volts on low / dlr and a full 12 on high.
Up here in the sticks and possibly down there I have noticed legal issues with them being installed on with high beams. Even check aftermarket bulbs and colors that you would like to purchase for legal issues.
ADVICE: For a tib for absolute brightness I would grab an aftermarket set of bulbs for the fogs and an hid kit for the low beam. At that point you will be mad bright! For the high beam grab a set of quality bulbs ( hid look is getting popular). Brands I would depend on for sure would be BOSCH, Eurolite, and Ignited.
Just my 2 cents, on expeiences I have had so far.
