thats what ive seen most run at the track. but there have been a few dipping low in the 12's, but its very rare. most are low 14's to high 13's

With the mods i got I am running 12.5 but after a good tune I hope to run a little faster. And a stock lightning runs 13.2. That is what I ran before the mods. Also the 2003 Lightning held the record for being the fastest production truck. 13.2 for a 4,500lb brick is pretty good. And it would take a lot of cash and tuning to get a Tiburon running those times. And a stock lightning is only running on 8lb's of boost. I loved my Tib but nothing beats power and the sound of my lightning.
Also we got people on stock blocks in the 11's and built motors in the 9's. No Gen 2 lightning would run 14's unless the driver has no idea what when the light turns green.

kool truck.. lightnings are ok. my friends uncle has a red one, and got the stock rims chrome dipped.. looks nice.. its also lowered..
but yeah, lets not get into the my car will beat your car.
all stock lightings, any gen, do not run 13.2 though, but ok.. i have seen some run 14s, and high 13s.
if i had something fast i would still rather have a car (the tib) over a truck.. trucks are for off-roading and hauling..
i would really appreciate it if after this point there was NOTHING about how the lighting is a 'real' vehicle, how 'american muscle' is better, anything about how hard (even though its not) to get tibs as fast as a lighting, or anything that'll cause any flame wars.

i've been in a 600hp SVT Lightning. those things are crazy. probably the fastest car i've ever been in.
as far as speed, sure three tiburons here might take it, but try pulling a boat with your tiburon. tongue.gif
