Let me know if anyone wants to race. wink1.gif

By the way it's a 2003 Lightning

Any of our boosted guys could take you still.

Phenomenal_Thunder 02-16-2007 07:10 PM

Call me when you are running better than 12.5 in the 1/4mile. Gotta love those V-8's, a real mans engine.

Mad-Machine 02-16-2007 08:13 PM

one of my favorite trucks.. that and the little blazer that GM turboed. Typhoon?

J3R0MY 02-16-2007 08:16 PM

i see a lightning badge..... but its not tuned... what gives?

kwin 02-16-2007 08:28 PM

Those are nice trucks. Still its sad to see another Tib being traded in.

Phenomenal_Thunder 02-16-2007 08:30 PM

The tune is coming as soon as get my tax return. With my mods i am looking at gett 425hp and 525flb torque.

We want this to stay friendly, so dont take this the wrong way, its a nice truck but...12.5? Im assuming your saying you got a new pulley and got some work done? because the 2003 SVT lightning dont run 12.5 stock. More like 13.7, which is plenty easy to eat up with some mild boost.

here's an article about the 2003

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>As one of the first projects for the Special Vehicle Team (formed in 1993) at Ford, the Lightning now uses a supercharged 5.4-liter V-8, making 380 horsepower (with a two-valve SOHC head), inside a regular cab, shortbed pickup body. Big horsepower and not much weight make for an energetic ride to the tune of 13.7-seconds e.t.s and runs 0-60 in 5.2 seconds.</div>

im sure its fun, but honestly its not very impressive for a s/c'ed 5.4l V-8, shit, the hemi's 5.7 n/a and it only makes 40hp less, not to mention it has mds so its not geting 12 mpg city like you are.

And lets not get this whole "real mans car" thing going or this'll be closed.

----------------------------------

Oh i see you posted that you've modded it, nice, but again, keep it friendly and remember your shit still stinks.

According to the internet it runs high 13's, low 14's.

Alex01tib 02-16-2007 08:37 PM

yah he posted that he modded it, or maybe bought it modded, stock wouldnt be a real big challenge to take with a T/C tib, or any t/c'ed car for that matter, but with his mod's it'd take some more work than a bit of f/i
