I would but all the heavy stuff out of mine, and an STIs are huge pigs. I would love to see a mild build on a miata that was running 1800lbs!

It would be tough to define "unsafe", you could say running without a hood, trunk, fenders, glass, or bumpers isn't particularly unsafe for example.

I remember that white "car". It started out as a Nissan Sentra or something, they got it to run 13 (???) sec in the 1/4 mile just by removing weight!



edit - I'm an idiot, I just saw the link after posting this. whoops! And it was 14 sec. lol.

strip the interior, you could save some more weight!
