The Audi Pikes Peak quattro concept debuts at the North American International Auto Show
Audi has debuted the Pikes Peak quattro concept study at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Pikes Peak was developed exclusively for this show. It comes in the 5-door SUV body style, and can seat up to six passengers. The third-row seat can be folded flat, and with all the rear seats folded, it offers up to a capacity of 68 cu. ft (1950 liters). The Pikes Peak quattro is equipped with a V8 engine, which produces 500 bhp, and it accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. Its adaptive air suspension creates up to 11 inches of ground clearance, and the variable-height pneumatic control at both axles responds automatically as the load increases.
