Man, if you think Civic hatches and CRXs are fast with a B18C, wait until you see them with the H22A (Prelude motor) or the K20 (RSX motor) or even the F22C (S2000 motor).

What about the CRX's with the V-Tech motor, i believe it is called del sol in the US. They are around 1994.
They must fly.
Ive never been in a v-tech, but from the stories ive heard, it makes me wanna get one.
This guy came passed my school in one. It was black with white rims and a muffler (thats all i could see, god knows what else is in that thing) and it sounded beasty as.

gen 2 crx 90-92/93 before gen 3 crx aka del sol. with the proper engine swap are indeniable (sadly cuz I hate hondas) but even stock due to weight most everyday cars will not keep up with the crx. By the time you get your wieght moving it is up the road. And the 90-93 with the glass window in the back is a sah weet little ride if you don't rice it out.
del sol. You can make them fast again very light BUT from what I have seen it is nicknamed a Del Slo for a reason stock AND THAT IS an ugly car.

VTEC is ghey. Honda owners look at it as performance engineering, when in reality it's designed for emissions and economy. Honda isn't magically ADDING hp at the top end, they're taking it away from the bottom end. Hence Hondas' horribly low torque figures.
I'll take a nice smooth broad powerband over VTEC any day.
If you really want to see what VTEC feels like, just give your car 50% throttle until 4500RPMS, then floor it. Same thing. tongue.gif
