Tonight much to my surprise I got a peek at the new Dodge Challenger. In the most random scenario at that, this thing was on the top bunk of an open freight semi. Just clinging on to the back like a would be civic. Of course in "Hemi Orange" with the black detailing, nothing less. I wish I had my camera on me because it was just awe inspiring.

Especially in person, a picture doesn't do this thing justice. Now I wont have the 40K+ any time in the near future for one, and even if I did a Gk or Genesis Coupe would be a much wiser investment, but damn if this isn't' one sexy car!

the camaro looks good, but i already see who's going to be driving them. 16 year old high school rich kids, and 55 year old frontyard lawnmowing Dad's who drink miller light and catch sunday night football and remember hitting on their wives in the 70's. i for one don't have much interest for these new cars or their new owners whatsoever.

seen a few of them so far.. about 10 guys have em on my srt forums.. couple guys have already boosted them..

saw one up close at the dealership. they did a pretty good job.. they will be nicer in 09 though. and the drag pack is AWESOME.

 

I haven't seen on in person until today, but again i haven't been looking.
I have to say for a reproduction i am pleasantly impressed. I expected crap and more crap.



Now just to await the inevitable Road Runner reproductions.

i like the look of the camaro more than the challanger though, just looks meaner. but they did a better job reproducing the look of the chally

 

this car looks good cause they stuck really close to the original.

btw, the title should be Dodge Challenger. not charger

Imagine seeing trailers full of them coming from the plant, on their way to Detroit....it was crazy.

I love the car, I think they got it exactly right. I don't care for the orange color really, but in black it's awesome. I was driving back from Toronto on Monday and came across one on the Thruway. We drove together for a bit, and then he took off at at least 100mph. About 2 hours later I see him pulled over by a Statey, lol.

 

I saw one not too long ago driving on the roads here in Fayetteville. Nice car.
