07 Tiburon
I think Turbo Tiburon will be popular. They can put 200-220 hp. There will be not so many additional/different parts. They can put 2.0 Turbo instead of 2.7 V6.
It would be competitor to Opel Astra Turbo, Toyota Celica, Mitsubishi Eclipse.... etc.
Remember, Hyundai did Scoupe Turbo.

OK... sorry but i just think the HCD is a big step up. We don't see Toyota's coming out with these.

Personally, i think it's an overall A+. It beats the Clix/HCD 6 by a long shot. It shows Hyundai are into a new era, a redefined era of the 1996 Models, back to the smoother sleeker side. However, the 06 Accent looks hideous. I don't know what went wrong with it.
I also think the rear end gets rid of that squarish look the GK's and RD2's have in common. I'm not balling on anybodies car, I just don't know why they made them square. Squares and boxes don't have anything really to do with sharks (except maybe a fish tank or something...) I like bold statements and the rear lights are bold and balanced. Not too small, not too big. Not cut off. The only problem I might have with it is if somebody bumps you and you break a light, you also break a part of the fender that lies in between each light... $$
Even if to some this car is ugly, just Imagine if the 2007 Tibueron was based off of this car, how neat looking it would turn out anyways. wink1.gif
I doubt the 2007 Tiburon will look as sporty or agressive. I hope it does, but unfortunately, instinct has it it won't. They will probably make it look like the hideous 2006 Eclipse or something.
What the HCD 8 does reveal, is Hyundai's past. They are purely serious about producing a sports car and a sports look. Not just some average, everyday sports compact car.

Guys, the convertable GK is NOT THE 2007. That was supposed to be the 04, then the 05, and now it's scrapped.
The HCD8 is a VERY hot car, just that was an ugly yellow to use.
Now according to Motor Trend...

They are obviously expecting Hyundai to actually make the HCD8 into the next Tib. I wouldn't, as Hyundai has NEVER seemed to bring one of these concepts to fruition. I personally think it kicks ass. I love the looks of it, super awesome looking, and even the new Chevy SS looks a bit like it.

2007 Hyundai Tiburon : Redesign. Hyundai's HCD8 Sports Tourer concept on the 2004 auto show circuit was the first vehicle to emerge from the Hyundai Kia Design and Technical Center in Irvine, California. The sleek, "ballistic yellow" sports machine offered the first look at the next-gen Tiburon. At the heart of the HCD8 is a supercharged 2.7-liter V-6 engine mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. An adjustable air suspension allows the pilot to adjust ride height a total of four inches, depending on driving needs. A convertible model is expected to join the coupe.

/\ yup
I really don't like the interior colour either. Whoever did the colour scheme must have been seriously colour blind.
A piss yellow exterior with a pasty white interior!?! It's just asking to get mudded/scratched/stained all to hell.
If everything had a more sporty look (in the way of colour schemes) I would be in love with this car even more than I am.
