It looks like they added a ton of weight to an already heavy car. The trunk lid looks overly large too, maybe a styling cue but it does look kinda funky.

A convertable tib would be cool, but they need to put out some more power first. Otherwise, it'll be like the older cavalier convertables, cute but dead slow.

But the RD/RD2s are still the best.

UGHHH THAT HCD8 CONCEPT IS SEXY AS ALL f***. I think I need to buy that Tib when it comes out, if it's based off of that.

all i know is that Hyundai needs to go talk to mitsubishi.....they need to AWD with more power and maybe a turbo...then i will definitely buy one of the new ones. New 4g63T AWD Tiburon, now that would be hot.

They day Hyundai makes an AWD sports car is the day I turn gay... (And I don't plan on it anytime soon). lol.gif They are way too economical and family-orientated compared to Mitsubishi. wink1.gif

Yep, an all wheel drive Tib would definately raise the price tag and I don't think that's the direction Hyundai wants to go at this time. Too much competition in that department.

I dont think that convertible GK looked that great, when it had the top on it looked OK. AND i think the HCD8's ass looks nasty. i think that hyundai should offer a turbo with the GK, wouldnt cost ALOT more...

Considering that would result in thousands more in parts/assembly per car, I highly doubt they would go that route since the GK is selling fairly well. Hyundai is usually looked at for low maintenence, good reliability, low cost family cars. Turbocharging would ruin the low maintenence part, the reliability part to some extent, and some of the low cost.

Subaru is an example of a company that is getting toward the sort of horesepower revolution that is starting to come out again, where people want more power. Yet If you go to one of their dealerships now, you see tons of cars in for the warranty.

Yep, If Hyundai did make a turbo Tiburon, I would be very surprised to see a 10year 100,000 warranty on the car.
