Recieved my Maf Pipe, arrived well packaged, and looked amazing, sadly it is really shiny compared to my Ic Piping that is just Raw and not polished, but it looks great, Welds are fantastics, maf fit perfectly. Then the instal was a breeze.

Glad you're happy

if you prefer the brushed look rub the maf housing with a white stochbrite pad

should turn out similar to your actual piping (if you want a duller/bit rougher finish use the red pads)

Denis, how'd you get it so shiny! Guessing expensive buffer and time?

All my other piping is black ceramic paint but the shiny maf looks nice.

edit: also what do you use to roll beads? I really really really need to get the rest of my piping rolled, it's really the only thing that makes it not too reliable right now. After about 100 miles I always pop a coupler off somewhere.

for the shine, electric bench buffer and buffing coumpound

for the beads a bead roller,if you find an old body shop they might have one or a fab shop

to help with popping coupling clean the pipe and the coupling itself to remove any oil spray some hair spray slip the coupling and tighten the hose clamp

Yea ^^^ I always brake clean my Ic Pipe Couplings and Couplers then put them together, never ran into a issue, or had to use hair spray, but that is a great idea. I find that just the clean surface, and a little easy driving, usually lets the couplers kinda bond to the Ic Piping.
