ok well as a few people here know, i am repainting my yellow 2000 tiburon to black. To try and make things easier i would like to trade anyone for black front/rear bumpers, side skirts and possibly hood if anyone has one, i will trade near mint condition of all yellow for black if anyone has any,thanks

 

Then You have to color match those parts anyways. If you get parts from a few different people they will be faded differently and need painted anyways. Easier just to paint yours. Doesn't take too long if you do it right the first time, unlike me.

 

Yeah you have to paint pretty much everything any way if your doing a color change.

I am repainting my yellow tib as well.

Are you doing it yourself or having a shop do it?

 

im doing it myself, but also with the help of a friend who does custom paintwork as a living, so i guess im getting help from a shop too, but im not paying for the shop to do it, im just using all of their stuff

I'm doing the same thing.

I'm trying to do as much of the work I can myself. Then my friend is painting it.

Paying for paint and some labor since he is taking away from his time at the garage.
