Okay, my wife's PC and my Son's PC are both tits up right now, and I need to do some PC upgrading. I'd rather take/trade/buy what you don't need anymore, or what you have spares of.

What I need?

1. DDR Ram. Preferably 2 x 1GB or 2 x 2GB sticks of regular DDR ram (Can't use DDR2), at 333/400 MHZ, 184 pin.

2. LCD Screens. 2 of them. Preferably 17" or higher, but my son can live with a 15".

3. Desktop systems. My wife's PC is a POS. We can't even run it anymore. The motherboard is an older Asus model with severe problems with USB. After running windows update one day, anything that you launch that uses internet explorer, or connects to the internet in any way, or uses IE for a shell, freezes the PC up. The screen is still visible but there are wierd lines bouncing all over it. It's virus free, but I'm sick of the motherboard problems and need a new motherboard/processor combo (ancient 1GHZ processor). If you have an older system that you need to get rid of, let me know what you have, I may take/buy/trade it from ya.

 

I know you said that you want at least 2 gigs but I have a 512 stick of DDR pc-3200 (400mhz) sitting around here. I just recently upgraded my computer and am now running 2gb of DDR2. This link shows it brand new on newegg, its GeIL Value Select. Geil Ram

I'd help you out, unfortunately all of my old parts my dad has taken. He is trying to build all of these computers to sell at our garage sale this year... Unless you need like 64mb sticks of ram, lol. I have a couple spare CD/DVD roms if you are interested. No clue if they work, but I think they do... Your call man. I also have a couple spare PSU's, and a couple spare cases. I have a ATX midtower case, its white and silver, doesn't look to bad. Or I have an almost complete HP Pavilon computer with one bad ram slot on the mobo. My closet is a computer graveyard.

i got a computer from work sittin around at home. I haven't touched it since it crashed. I don't know whats wrong with it but I had it hooked up during a storm and now it doesn't work. I push the button and it makes the usual sounds but it doesn't connect with the monitor. The computer itself was a good box but I don't remember all the details. I will see if I can pull any off of it but this was a computer given to me by the place I worked at last year so it's can't be older then a couple years and it worked fast enough to download and watch lots of porn with ares, which you may have to erase if this is for your wife or kid. If you want it it's just collecting dust...

 

Can you get me a picture or any specs? I'm interested for sure.

 

yeah when I get home I will find all the info I can and I can take pics with my cell, they won't be great quality but decent enough. I do know it's got a CD writer with DVD-Rom and I'm thinking like 60 gigs of storage. I think most of the important stuff is on a sticker on the box hopefully. I'll give you an update in the morning.

 

nothing here right now. At least not worth mentioning. I can't seem to keep anything in stock. I have a laptop here that I was planning on rebuilding soon to sell. Would you be interested in it? it's an inspiron 8600. probably need a couple hundred out of it. All it needs is a hard drive.

 

The black one is the better one I think. The white tower turns on and works but is pretty slow. Don't forget the black box turns on but the video card could be shot or worse. I myself know nothing about computers, I just know how to go online and find porn pretty much, lol. Just messing but I don't know technical stuff or taking computers apart and all just isn't my thing.
