Ok my front left has gone, real bad

And a new one would cost me around 100 bucks at the dealer.

The aftermarket can't be much more then that laugh.gif

IF you read through my earlier posts on wheel bearings, I mentioned getting a quote to replace one of mine for $165. The bearing itself is cheap.. it is just a manhour whore to replace it.

Think I got my front right bearing from napa for like 40 bucks. Can't remember the brand but it was a good name brand where if you get it from autozone it's like "best" brand. Installed it at my uncles garage and it's rolling smooth now! fing02.gif

btw, if you don't have access to a hydraulic press your going to have to pay someone to do it.

edit: oh btw, i'd highly suggest picking up the bearing yourself and getting the quality piece. then taking it to the shop. 90% of shops are going to use the cheapest parts possible.

autozone has the best prices...

if your paying more than $50 dollars you should kick yourself in the nuts.

OEM WHEEL BEARINGS SUCK!

Yup, the fronts are only the bearing, whereas the rear is part of the hub assembly.

Those aren't bad prices at all actually.
