I don't really know what to call it, but that thing that connects to the hatch and covers the trunk... I'm sure someone knows what I mean. Either way, when I bought my Tib, the thing had been removed, and having recently installed subs, it's a decent alternative until I can afford an alarm in a few months. I thought about making one, but I figured I'd try to buy one first... I can't seem to find them anywhere online, and Hyundai wants $150-ish for it, which is insane... I was hoping for maybe half as much. Anyway, I don't know if it varies from model to model, so I have an RD2.

They are the exact same for RD1's and 2's.
It's called a Deck Lid.
www.kspec.com can get them for you, prolly for less than $75 shipped.

Isn't it called a Cargo Cover ?
And $75 is a lot of money for that piece of fabric..

No, it's a rear deck lid. The official name is...
Trim Assembly - Covering Shelf Center - 85930-27600-LK
I was wrong, they are listed as different part #'s for the RD1 and 2, but the lid should be almost identical. I forgot the rear hatch is shaped slightly different. The above part # is for the RD2 style.
I was also wrong about the price. From Hyundai it's...
$337.38
Yeah, Kspec.com can beat that.
It's not fabric. Brand new shipped from Korea, that's cheap, and just an estimate. Could be $50.

I'm surprised Redzman didn't notice that.... Must be he's getting older.
Nah, I just rarely look at where they are posted. Most everyone does it right.

dude... i got mine for like $25 off of ebay, and it was barely used. i'm prolly takin the rear seats out when my car arrives in germany three months or so for now. if i do i'll have no use for it so i could sell it to ya for cheap, but you probably want it sooner. sorry man, screw hyundai for tryin to rape ya on the price. 3somethin is ridiculous
