Hey does anybody know of where I can buy a single DIN surround? Or have 1 that they are willing to sell me? Thanks!

 

Car-toys, tweeters, any car audio/accesory store. Some will have it in stock some like BestBuy will say order it. It's like $10-$20 I belive. If you get one that has a square cubby hole, give it back lol. It looks like crap.. I have one, I know. I forget which one its called but there is a rounded one that looks a lot better. If I find out the name I'll let you know if someone else hasnt posted here by then.

Ok, basically, Any store with a car audio section will have it, or can order it. There are 2 kinds of double din replacments. they all add a hole under the stereo for you to store things like cd cases. One kind will look ugly, the other kind will look pretty nice. The hole it adds will either be a square box, or a rounded box; You want the rounded box.

haha yes, actually I work at Circuit City, I just never knew that we could order that stuff lol. Next time I work Ill have the road shop order me the rounded one. Thanks DDD

Just for the record, incase this is found via search in the future, the square one will also eat paper mad.gif
If you store paper in there and try to slide it out instead of picking it up, it will slide inbetween the plastic pieces forcing you to take the cover off to retrieve it. I had a fun time trying to leave the airport when the cover ate my paper that they scan for pricing....
