well i got my new tranny in but apparently my shifter cables are starting to break. the sleeves on the end where the cable actually comes out have gotten soft or bent and is allowing the cable to bend. this is making it near impossible to have first gear because the up and down cable isnt fully extending due to the slack in the line. so if anyone happens to have some laying around let me know. i dont want to have to pay 153.10 from my dealer for these cables, and none of the parts stores in town carry hyundai cables.

I May have a used set if your intrested..... but i checked locally at the dealer and they said that the 97-01 use the same shifter cables BUT the manufacture date has to be before Oct 1 2001 for my 99 Tib cables to work.Anything after Oct 1 2001 the part number is different....
