Okay, a couple of years ago something got stuck in my sunglasses holder and I had to pry it open, in the process something that helped hold the compartment closed broke. Now in the summers, when I hit bumps of any size, the thing falls open.

I'm sick of it.





That's what I need. Don't need the lenses, but you can throw them in if you want.

There are a few kinds of these, and the one I have, and the one I WANT, is the one you push in and it flips out at a medium pace. There is another one that you push in and it just pops down like a flaccid... well, you know what I'm talking about.

Hook me up. Needs to have the lights working and all wires in place, along with the sunroof controls, other than that, you can keep the bulbs.

 

Is the RD2 unit different than the RD1? I would sell you mine, it looks like its the same. I'd have to see how quickly the holder opens.

 

I'm pretty sure that's the difference. I don't know if the connectors are the same either.

 

Just tested it, it glides open smoothly, definitely doesn't jerk open.

How much you want for it if it's the right one? I just know most RD1's had a different model of this as I had one at a time, but if it's the right one, I'll take it.
