I was advised by Redz just to make one out of a heavy duty paper clip, but if anyone has a spare clip they could part with for a few dollars I sure would be appreciative! It turns out that if you lose the retainer, you can't get another one without buying another farking light assembly. Not sure if the left one is different for the right one, but I need the right one.

I ended up buying a whole headlight at the junkyard just to get one of those. Fortunently the headlight was bust so it only costed like 10-15 bucks.

That paperclip idea might work...I'd think it would lose it's springiness after a while though and allow your headlight to vibrate in there.

LOL, I'd hate to have to resort to a paper clip, but I'm buying HIDs very soon, and it'd be a real shame if one of them had to point at the ground like my halogen bulb has for the last year. I've actually been pulled over before because the cop thought I had a light out. HAHA

That's why you use a HEAVY DUTY paperclip. They are strong and will hold the bulb easy.
