So I was searching the FS thread and Pm'd alot of you but most were old threads. So I'm not sure if anyone still has one. What I have is a 97 2.0 with the mani attached to the cat is the cat seprate? or is it a mani/cat?
It looks like it can be seperated from the mani with the o2 bung right near where it seperats I was going to post a pic of what I have but photobucket is down right now any help would be greatly appricaited

It is all connected, though I believe you could chop it off and weld it onto a new manifold/flange. If you get in on the hyundai campaignl done on having a cracked manifold, they will replace your cat as well.
are you looking to buy one? mine is pretty much brand new - I just got it replaced. I could sell it to you but I would need some time to order in a replacement headers though....

I'm more than willing though

There was someone selling a 1.8L elantra manifold a couple weeks ago that looked like that - without a cat.

I checked, I've got mine. But I've passed emmisions w/o my primary cat. No cel = no problems. Have you tried getting it inspected?
