I heard about Streetglow, but this Plasmaglow thing changes colors and it has an extra thing that lets you pulse the LEDs to music which really pulled me in, probably my next buy immedeatly after I buy these LEDs.

Ya the plasmaglow ones are nice. the music feature comes built in with the streetglow set as well and it also changes colors and does all kinds of patterns. I like it and it was like 175 from ebay shipped.

So a local auto parts store around here has that streeglow kit for 200, and I wouldn't have to pay shipping from an online site. The only thing is, does the remote that comes with the kit turn them on and off? That's my biggest worry (yeah, I sound like a noob).

eh... i had LED streetglows under my car. problem is, just like the neon tubes, when you bust a tube it makes the whole thing not work. it will end up costing you a lot in the long run because the tubes are not as tough as they make them out to be.

They make the LED tubes MUCH more durable then the neon tubes. They're all plastic! Neons are glass! Go with the LED tubes, some vendors will even let you stand on the tube to prove how durable it is. You can get them on ebay relatively cheaply. LEDs are the way of the future. Don't buy the old crap.

I never even considered getting neons tongue.gif I know that LEDs are much better. I'm just contemplating which kit will last the longest, and which kit has the most for the price. They're all around 200 - 250 which I can deal with, but Streetglow pulses to music without the extra adaptor that you need for plasmaglow, and streetglow is at my local auto place so I think I might check it out a little more. Anymore input on either/more brands is very much appreciated.
