Ok, I have an old Pioneer Receiver that I use in my room... Its nothing big, just something that'll do... Ive been having problems with the thing. The display flickers then goes out, along with the audio, then when you give it a good smack, it comes back on lmao.gif . I took it apart and cleaned everything that I could and it helped but still the problem persists. So Im trying to find a decently priced one. Craigslist = no luck. Ebay = Meh. I was just wondering if anyone had an extra one lying around they'd be willing to part with.

Heres kinda what Im looking for:

^^^^Notice the ghetto-rigged Tone Control, lol

^^^^It powers my POS MTX pretty well, lol

You can get a pretty nice newer digital one on eBay starting at around $150.00.

Nice new powerful THX certified ones start around $400.00.

Most car speakers are 4 ohm, and home theater speakers are usually 8 ohm (sometimes 6 ohm).

You can find 5.1-7.1 home audio system for 150-300 bux at almost any home audio/electronics store.

I picked up my 7.1 Pioneer for $200.00 (Valued at $500+) off the Polk Audio forums.
