My hatch is rattling like crazy and the gas shocks for it are dead so I figure thats the problem. Does anyone know where I can find them? I've looked on Ebay, and Canadian tire says they're discontinued? Thanks

 

While your hatch lift struts may be dead, they aren't likely to be the cause of the rattle you hear. It may be that you need to turn out the rubber bumpers in the hatch so it sits more tightly to the car body. They screw in and out to adjust how far they stick out.

You may also want to check to make sure all the plastic interior panels on the hatch are properly fastened in place.

 

I still have a pair from an RD1 w/ spoiler which I was incorrectly sent, but never got around to relisting. I don't know about shipping to Canada though.

But the shocks aren't what's causing the rattling as rallyman mentioned. There are several threads here on dealing with the ratling issue.
