IF some of you saw my previous post about my car NOT starting, I thought I had a problem with my fuel pump not working or the relay. Well it turns out I have NO spark either. So I'm guessing that if I have no spark, the fuel pump isn't turning on, that it "could" be an ECU problem.
IF so does anyone have one for sale, I may need to buy it.

Out of curiosity, how much is a new one?

they are all over eBay as well. $60-100

junkyards probably charge the same for pre-pulled, if not more.

ya, please don't buy a new one from a dealership. They will charge you way to much money.

now would be a perfect time to get an ECU from a 98 1.8L elantra

Dude, get a 1.8L one for under $30 on car-part.com It'll give you better performance and fuel mileage, plus it's really cheap. If you don't, at least check car-part, you can get it really cheap on there.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm not 100% sure it's the ECU. It goes into the dealer on friday and when they check it out, IF it turns out it;s the ECU I'm telling them to give me a couple of days to get a used one to install. I'll keep you all informed.
