Do you have rear drums or discs? If you have drums, you can order one for about $30 from Rockauto.com. The BEST place I have EVER purchased from, on the net! If you order from them, use discount code:

844483747977

on the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart. You'll get 5% off the order, only until Jan 22, 2008.

If you have rear discs, I can get you a brand-new, in-box, parking brake cable for $60 + shipping (I think you're in Ottawa); I'm in Toronto. I replaced my left (driver-side) parking brake cable yesterday, and that was the cheapest I could find.

they have great prices! The only problem is that they only ship to the US. I found out the hard way by adding $450 worth of stuff in my car and then on the checking out I couldn't complete 'cause they don't ship to Canada. Rockauto does, though.

Are the hook ups at the end of the cable different for drum and disc? Whats with the major price difference between the 2? I need to replace both as well.
