Wtb: Cat
Looking to get a stock catalytic converter for 2001 Tiburon. If you happen to be going turbo, you might want to free up some back-pressure. I have a gutted stock "shell" that I can throw in for trade.
TIA

It is a federal no-no to sell a used catalytic converter except to a recycler for scrap value, or for a shop to install one. With a little searching you will probably find a thread that will point you to a new one at a ridiculously low price from an online OEM parts seller.
It was a federal offense when I accidentally my old cat. Now I am trying to resolve it. Cheaply. So if someone has this part and needs rid of it (or trade for a very free-flowing, stock-looking replacement), please PM me. kthxbye

Alright alright, i just want to know how you accidentally hollow out a cat. And just do as posted above, look for the online retailer with the lowest price, theres a list of them in the vendors forums

Accidentally jammed an intentionally-bent piece of rebar into the cat's inlet and outlet, repeatedly.
OOPS! OOPS! OOPS! OOPS! OOPS! DAMMIT! OOPS!
Sorry REDZ, but come on, this is a silly request to restate after somebody already told the OP it was a crime.
