I have been having some altenator problems lately. My belts were making a lot of noise so I took a close look at them to notice my upper altenator bracket had broken. My step dad helped me weld it back together will it was still attached and we did a pretty good job. The bolt was a little messed up tho apparently because we put it all back together and everything sounded great until a few days later when on my way home Christmas night I broke down. The bolt came out somehow and the belt got loose and tangled between the pulleys. I have everything back together and running but I used nuts as spacers for a random fitting bolt in place of the real bolt and bushing. Also my step dad mentioned that my altenator may be worn out or have some damage to make it pull away and snap the bracket like it did. Even tho I have a homeaid fix for this I would like it to be temporary (and by my choice rather than by my car breaking down again) so if anyone has an altenator, upper bracket with bolts and bushings, and/or lower bracket with hardware for sale please let me know. Also I need front seat belts cheap if anyone has them.
