Hey Im tryin to find some cheap a** rims for my rd2. i dont care how the paint is or anything. just dont want serious curb rash or anything bent or chipped. i like anything from THIN 5 spokes up to an 8 spoke. if you can find me cheap konig imagines i will be your butt buddy for life! haha. if you could post this on any other car forums you all belong to thatd be great! im tryin to get a set before June 23rd.

I dont thing bronze on silver is the way to go. I dont like the look. You need a dark colored color for those.

 

yea true. but how are those rims? and what color will look good besides black and gunmetal lol. i can get them powdercoated

 

Woah, woah. I was thinking about waiting to sell mine but I have been planning on selling these for a while now. They are fine in condition just I need lighter 15" rims for racing.

Only problem is I JUST bought new rubbers for them (well, sorta ...LOL. Read my gripes and complaints thread entitled "Fawk Sears" or something like that)...

So, I'd have to sell em with the rubbers (Brand new nitto gen somethings. They virginity was taken away ON phoenix international raceway and damn, I am impressed with their dry performance for their cost. wink1.gif )

But if you are interested, I will quit slackin and find some 15"s for my car and prepare these for shipment to wherever they need to go.

Also, my local motorsports shop owner informed me he has a set of all black racing rims for sale. They are brand new and look damn good (even better on a black car). I'm not sure on their size (I think he said 17") but I'll take pictures if you are interested in those. $300 + shipping.

Let me know which, if any, you are interested in so I don't watse my time taken pictures for nothing and such..

 

Can you get pics of the rims that shop guy was talkin about. or just get the name and ill find pics. but as for yours probably not. idk y but im just not crazy bout them.

^I dont like them. Id look for maybe like an 8 spoke black wheel. I think those look real nice on silver tibs

 

Just to give you an idea of a 5 spoke in a silverish look at my sig. I got mine for 330 shipped off ebay so there cheep, but your going to hate how slow your car is with cheap 17's.

 

Still looking for rims? I have 17's for sale, only thing is that I don't think we have the same bolt pattern. I have an 05. They are universal 5 bolt. MSR style 105s. Gunmetal w/tires. $350. Do you have 4 bolt?

 

what is your idea of lightweight?

if you get some lightweight rims they're easily given away to pot holes. i got some 21'lbs rims. not the lightest rims but not the heaviest. i'm an automatic so it's going to be slow anyways. haha.
