maybe think about 195/60 R 14 tires?

I thought the more wider the tire, the less grip on snow.

That's right. If anything you want a winter tire to be a little narrower than your regular tires. The idea is to have the tire cut down through the snow not ride on top of it. I would go with the size you have chosen. It is nearly identical to the stock circumference.
