Its so funny how us old timers all talk abut the "OLD" days of T-H-C, FxTreme, HA, TSR, and so on...when in actuality...it was only a few years ago. tongue.gif


Oh wait....remember HKD? Did anyone ever get anything from that place? *lol* Seems like every time someone ordered something, they would wait for months and months at a time or never get it at all. Kind of like SR. laugh.gif


Ah well....those were the best times though. We might not of had much in the scene back then....but damn....we had some fun times on the forums! grouphug.gif

 

I remember all that stuff. I remember things even since then - the people that got shafted on group buys from various companies on different parts, I even ended up being one. I was darn glad to have gotten all the stuff I had ordered from TSR before they became dogs. I even remember the first time meeting Random - it was like a celebrity sighting. laugh.gif

I was always glad to be a part of it too. I think I drove farther than anyone else to either go to a meet, or meet someone from "the boards". No one can dispute that.
At the time there was just no one local to me, so I drove to find the Tiburon people! hahaha
It's been nice to get to know people, for real, as opposed to trying to read meaning into what they type. Most of the time you can walk away from the meet really satisfied about getting to know the actual person.
Although the past couple of years I've sorta given up trying to put any mods and money into my car (at this point I just gotta try to keep it rolling), I 'd say I've had a very good run with a very good car, and met a few really good people.

And isn't that what life's all about? Making memories, and some friends along the way.
And to think I owe it all to a Hyundai! ! ! ! ! ! wink.gif cool.gif
