I need the OEM Hyundai part for the RD2 Tiburon. I just bought an in-dash tv and I need the piece that replaces the whole "cd player area" piece so I can fit two 1 din things in there. Make sence? :?:

 

so you're wanting the surround for the double-din? I don't remember there being on... I think it just fit in there, but then again, I'm not fully understanding what you want. I went to Electronic Express (don't know if you have one of those) to buy my single-din dash kit for like $12. I'd also check your hyundai dealer and see how much it would cost, because buying a plastic piece from someone online, then paying shipping, and possibly having it broken in shipment... it might be better to go through dealer.

 

okay well, you know how you buy the tiburon stock. it's got the cd player.

then you buy an aftermarket cd player and it has 1 din and a slot for crap.

well, there's a piece that replaces that whole center piece and gives you a 2 din space. that's what i want.

 

check Best Buy, that's where I got mine, but it was a single din. Maybe they'll have the double that you're looking for too

 

That's all Best Buy has. This is a Hyundai factory piece.

Going to add to this.. I am looking for the Double Din console face for the First gen. My tib came with a single din panal and the "junk" catcher... I have plans and needs the Double... but it needs to be for the First Gen, not the second.

I happened to find one on eBay... but it's for a 95 through 98 Tiburon. People really do need to figure out what years these cars were built.
