Stock Cd Brackets

My mom threw away my stock cd player brackets, the metal pieces. I need these pieces to put in cd player . anyone know or have one for sale? i need this as soon as possible if anyone could help me out in anyway thanks.

are you putting in an aftermarket unit?

just buy one of the kits for it.

i went to a couple of places here in my town and they all said i might as well goto a junkyard to find the brackets bc they said they need it for the cd player for a secure fit.

yeah was just seeing if the 2 metal pieces are gonna be with it, b/c thats all i need the ones on both sides.

For future reference, if you need to replace the factory mounting brackets you can simply bend radio support straps into the shape you want and bolt them right up. That's my preferred method over Metra plastic brackets, as it's sturdier and also easy to adjust how far in or out the deck sits.

Of course, if you had the stock double DIN opening, you would still need one of the kits for an aftermarket single DIN unit.
