anyone have a spare or know where i can get
a RD2 boot and the ring around it? mainly just the ring.
i cracked ine today when i was shifting into 2nd gear.
if anyone knows where i can get one i need one asap.

The rings are retarded, get an aftermarket boot.

I happen to know someone making custom ones.

 

Do you mean the bottom one, the one with the fake "Screws" or "rivets"?
Or the small one that is on top of the boot, just before the shift knob?

 

the plastic piece around the shifter.

 

I have a spare one, but the paint is rubbed off, but physically it's fine.
