In need of a passenger side: Turn signal assy. and Headlight assy. Also a bumper cover and support. Pass. Side fender, hood, top radiator support beam and a/c line. I think that's it for now.

 

wow.... uhm... might be good to find a local junk yard. That's a lot to replace, and some large items.

 

Yeah, unfortunately my local bonyards don't have or keep parts for Tibs. At least not for my poor RD1. Considering going with a few aftermarket parts such as the fiberglass Z4 fenders since their cheaper than steel OEM and the bumper cover from a body kit since its also cheaper. Even considering CF hood as even it's cheaper than steel OEM.



I need to check out the cleveland yards still, but I would really like to get the lights used since their over $200 each new. plus that would look silly with one new and one old.

 

Good news, one of the Cleveland pull a part yards has a RD1 in and they've only had it for a few months.

Yeah, I'm trying to scrape up money to go out there. Still got some X3 parts to sell....

 

Unfortunately, almost every Tib I've seen in a junk yard has the front end smashed to hell. It's like the brakes on it sucked and everyone ran into something head on.

 

This Tib was in a front end collision with the last owner. Not as bad as mine but enough to replace the bumper.
