Okay ive got this code, p0441, I did some testing and the evap solenoid is stuck open and not responding to voltage. If anyone has one they could send out immedietly that would be awesome. Otherwise point me in the direction of obtaining one.

Thanks

have you done any mods or moved it? maybe it got some water.

which solenoid are you referring to? the purge valve near the intake manifold or the 2 way valve attached to the canister?

1. test it with a voltmeter to see if power is running through it

2. clean it out. the process can be seen >

here is the diagnostic: http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?act=att...post&id=475

Here is more information on that part. www.worldpartsexpress.com was the cheapest I found it. The site is down right now but check back in a day or so.

Holy Sh*t i threw this same code this weekend and autozone tested it and they said it was somethin to do with my gas cap or whatever... what does this code mean?!?! and is my car safe to drive lol

ps sorry to steal this thread...but when i try to pump gas, it wont work, it clicks off like my tank is full, someone on here said it could mean the charcoal canister is bad and i think my mechanic said the same, or i could possibly have a pinched hose or pipe or somethin... i have to fill up a red gas tank and put a funnel in my tank and pour the gas in, thats how i fill up...OWND... i havnt had it checked out yet but i will soon, just like to know what im lookin at....ps again sorry for stealin this lol

I actually just got this code as well. I have a 2000 Elantra though that does not have the crazy canister in the front. Can the purge valve just be replaced?

in an elantra it's likely the gas cap. but yes the valve can be replaced.
