Old School Phone
I'm looking for a phone in this style...

But I want it in black. It doesn't have to be the exact model, but I like that style. Don't ask why I like it. Don't ask why I don't buy one where I work (Best Buy). I just like the way that phone looks. Anyone have one in the garage or in their closet?

I think I have a dark brown one somewhere.... I'd have to find it but it should be laying around here somewhere.
That would be cool. I just don't want that light beige color.
edit... if the lighter color is all i can find... then I'll be interested.
Ugh, I that was the phone in the dorms when I was at JMU. I won't ask. tongue.gif
We used to throw them down the halls on weekends to see who could get the farthest.
You may as well go for a rotary phone while you're at it. I have an old rotary phone made of Bakelite (early plastic) that would probably survive a nuclear explosion. Antique malls usually have neat ones. Mine looks like this:

Good for when the power is out. Although my cordless base station has a backup battery good for a few hours of talking. But anyway.
