Does Hyundai have a stock one? IF so, does anyone have one for sale?

If not, can anyone recommend a good aftermarket one? BestBuy told me it was a "no fit", so they didn't have a kit for me.

Any help much appreciated...thanks

i have one for 15 shipped. You're talking about a part so you can have a aftermarket radio installed?

Yes, I have the stock double DIN stereo in my Tib. I just bought a Kenwood deck, which fits in a single DIN hole. Is yours a Hyundai part, or aftermarket? Could you send a pic? I've seen a nice one in some random pic on the forums, it looks stock. I just want something that looks good!

Don't get the aftermarket ones, they look and FIT like shit.

Seoulfulracing.com can get you the full OEM kit, which looks fantastic. Just PM KDMGuy and tell him what you need. You need the Radio Surround with 2 holes, the pocket, and the mounting kit.

Are you looking for a single din surround or a single din mounting kit which will allow you to use the double din surround currently in your car? Your situation can be addressed with either of these.

I have a 2001 Tib which has a double din surround. In order to use this surround I purchased a Metra install kit which fits very well in the double din surround. It looks good. Below is a picture. The Metra kit comes with a pocket where you see the switch plate I've been working on, so this is slightly different but should be good enough for you to better understand.

I'm sorry man, your switch thing looks neat, but that adapter kit looks horrible. The OEM one looks nice.

No problem Redz, I'm sure a single din surround would look a lot better. I'm assuming the pocket on the single din surround is optional (not something I'd have to cut away like on the Metra kit I used) and could just mount the switch plate in this location, correct?

Right. And you wouldn't have that big flat space above the stereo either.

That's kinda what I figured, Redz...I'd much rather go with a stock-looking kit (I would like it to look good). I don't think hardate's looks that horrible though.

Hardate, why did you have to cut? Was it to fit in the stock location, or something you did to add those switches? I might go with the Metra solution depending on price and how quickly Seoulful could get me the part, if it doesn't require any cutting to fit in.

Thanks to everyone for the info.
