I'd take the chance with the new ones. The old ones will probably be cracked and stuff. Don't want to deal with that.
Not to mention they'll be dirty as hell.

$16 a piece is a very good price. They're like $40 and up from the dealer, even junkyards I checked wanted $15-20 for them.
Used shouldn't be a problem, just grab one from a 99+ and it shouldn't be cracked or messed up yet. I've really only seen them messed up on cars over 10 years old.
