hey, my car has spark plug wire problem! it is not functioning properly, and am using paint tape to keep it together and preventing it from making the motor jumpy
i've looked around ebay and other sites, but they're $200ish, bah not payin THAT much, and the part stores in my area does not sell import parts! (growls)
and yes i've looked in for sale forum, but when i look and found one for sale, somebody got the dibs on it, not that im complaining or getting upset, but im having difficulty keeping track! lol
well anybody got one for sale PLEASE help me and my baby out! will pay extra for shippin/handlin if neccessary (if colors are optioned, prefered green but dont really give a care, just as long as it'll fix my car), just as long as the wire are reasonable price, my car is nearly not safe without proper wires!

THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR ALL THE HELP YOU'VE GAVE ME, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Hey, I still have my stock wires. They're in good condition, I changed them for PRDs and I didn't notice any difference, so they work ok. I don't even know what to ask, how about 10$ + shipping?

Don't expect to see differences from regular maintenance items like spark plug wires, you won't see much of anything, unless you REALLY know your car. THen you'll see a tiny bit.

PRD's, all the way.

You can get NGKs at your local auto parts store for about $40. That would be the quickest option. Although for some reason every spark plug wire I tested at the local auto parts store had higher resistance then the stockers. They were well within tollerance, but they just had higher resistance. The only specs I could find as far as resistance were maximum resistance figures.

REDZMAN: Maybe next time you get a chance, can you test the ohms on your spark plug wires with a multi-meter? Spark plug wires seem to have oddly high resistance for their length. People talk highly about PRDs.

How about these Bosch plug wires?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/HYUNDAI-ELANTRA-TIBURON...2QQcmdZViewItem

I bought a set of these a while ago from this seller and they are fine. They have a lifetime warranty too.

Lots of people here recommend the PRD's but if you do some searching around you will see that they have a habit of breaking too. When you can get a new set of wires for less than $30 I wouldn't bother with a used set unless they are barely used and very cheap.

There was a thread about plug wire resistance a while ago. The PRDs and the Bosch had almost exactly the same - and they were very good. The NGK were kinda sketchy. I have a feeling that the PRDs are just colorful Bosch wires, but I could be wrong.

I sell the NOLOGY wires.

I actually did feel a difference on my V6 with them. NOLOGY claimed 7hp gain on the V6. I do not remember the 2.0 dyno, just that the guys I've sold to are happy with them.

PRD's DO have a lifetime warranty too.

2 of mine tore when taking them off, but it WAS my own fault. Too much cleaning spray in the engine had kinda glued the spark plug boots to the valve cover.
