how will you wire the emanage to the ecu? the ecu is just a box.

That just made me think that you could wire it to the ecu. That might be easier. Once you open the ecu there are bare metal connectors from each pin to the board. it might be easier to saulder it to the metal pins than doing it under the dash.

I might have to try it since I now have an extra 2.0l ecu. Might just cur a hole in the ecu case for the wires to exit.

I've got my spare but I'm keeping it man, same reasons.

I got an extra ECU harness and about a foot of wiring from TC, I'm going to get a second ECU and patch my SMT6 when I get it into the back of the ecu pinout, then put the ECU harness on there to hook up to the 1.8L ECU.

Should work well and no crimping or anything required.

thats what i was thinking he was going to do. might wanna give it a try if you can solder nate.
