Hey there everyone...it seems that i have milked all the junk parts i needed for my tib in IL and theres nothing else i can part there...if anyone could be so kind in guiding me to finding replacement panels ill be forever in your debt.also i'm looking for other stock parts.oh btw i don't want to get the parts from the st charles junk site..just cause..if anyone is near a junk yard or has access to parting out a 1st gen tib plz email me asap..at sushi2112@hotmail.com..thxs and happy tuning

First, you don't have to search for 1st gen panels only; the doors are the same on 1st and 2nd gen.
Second, is your whole door damaged, or just the exterior panel? If it's only the panel, the piece can be ordered to your dealer, and the price is not too high; I bought one some time ago.

 

If your rich go to a dealer, if your like the other 90% of us never buy parts that dont HAVE to be new at a dealer. I can get you the first gen doors and YES THEY ARE DIFFERENT. I only wanted to throw that out there because I've done plenty of research on whats diff and whats not. The door is only different on the drivers side and the difference is the color of the plastic panel. It wont match your dash unless you have them both painted, which I recomend anyways. Other than that all 1st and 2nd gen panels are identical. I have everything from inside a 2000 in my 1997. Every part inside is interchangable between the two. Interchangable meaning it will fit not work.

 

Wait a second... when reading "panel", I thought about the outside metal panel, not the inside plastic one; it's obvious that the inside trims differs between the 1st and 2nd gen.

Sorry man I haven't checked this section for a while. I got 2 different sets you can pick from. 1st gens with a lil crack in the the very bottom of the plasic piece. Or Second Gens with no probs, (but the only diff is the color of plastic on the drivers side.) Very subtle diff. Man I don't know what to ask for them though. I have a set or I can get you the other set for whatever my guy at the yard wants so I'll ask him what he wants tomorrow!

 

i'm intrestedin the 2nd gen set...off color doesn't matter its going to be repainted anywho...i'm looking for maybe 5-15 for just the passenger side door panel..i was lucky and found the driver side one...well pm if this is cool with you..ill be waiting
