Used TigerLily product for bench marking....custom ordering for RD/GK I4 2.0 liter.

I have a quote for custom ordering low compression turbo FORGED pitons and rings as a set price.

The 5+ GB for set of 4 forged pistons and rings are $500

8.5:1 and 82mm bore size for stock repalcement turbo pistons.

The product will withstand up to 800hp.

Silicone coated and Molyevdem dry film added to protect and durability.

10 days lead time to complete once order each time of GB.

Do you mean bore up size by 0.5 to 2mm?

Bore up size is already available, but I don't know anyone else will agree doing more work.

If you don't have good access to a performance shop doing installation, it is even harder to do more stuff to your engine.

ok so my question is...
isnt it better to to get pistons that are bore up .... that way when the walls get resurfaced it makes a better fit meaning longer piston life?

If you want bore up piston, you must honing the piston sleeve. The forged piston needs expansion clearance of 0.06mm during heat..

So, are you saying that these slugs can be dropped in without any machine work to the stock block? I am a bit confused. If they are 82 mm, wouldn't we need to add clearance for piston expansion? Or, are they manufactured so that 82 mm is what is needed for the piston, after piston expansion is taken into account.

Also, who is the manufacturer of the pistons and rings and what company did the coating and dry filming of the pistons? Finally, are wristpins included?

Stock is 82mm
With forged expansion considered, there is still clearance of 0.067mm according to manufacturer.
wristpins are not included other than the rings and pistons itself.
Manufacturer will be posted here once I have some interest......otherwise, I will only export this pistons. Still in the process of making any contract with the company, after initial meeting...

If you are looking for bore up oversized piston, you can find at WISECO Brand.
